Susan C. Wolfe
Susan joined Hoffman & Pollok as an associate in 1984 and became a partner in 1992. Dedicated to the representation of individuals faced with the crisis of criminal prosecution, she understands that no other area of law involves more important questions of individual liberty, and that few other kinds of cases take the same toll on the personal, professional and emotional lives of clients. Equally drawn to the academic and intellectual side of the law, she has written and argued numerous appeals raising novel issues and always bringing home to the judges the human element of the case.
A representative sample of her clients include: stock brokers and broker-dealers charged with violating arcane aspects of the federal securities laws; a doctor under Department of Health investigation for professional misconduct; a doctor charged with distributing medically unnecessary pain medications; mortgage brokers charged with mortgage fraud; an internet ISP employee charged with violating the federal anti-spam act; a cosmetic surgery practice charged with insurance fraud, as well as many lawyers and other professionals charged with committing fraud in the practice of their professions.
Susan was admitted to the Bar in New York in 1985. She is also admitted to practice in the U.S.
District Courts for the Eastern, Southern and Northern Districts of New York and U.S. Court of
